Meat & Mushrooms
2 x 200g scotch fillet
4 large portobello mushrooms
2 x eggs
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil or grass fed animal fat.
1tsp sea salt and cracked black pepper
Heat grill or pan on high.
Grease the pan with extra virgin olive oil or good quality animal fat and season the steak with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3mins each side or longer for well done. put steak on a plate to sit before 5mins before eating.
While the steak is cooking, add mushrooms and sauté for 2-3mins until tender. plate sautéed mushrooms with steak.
Drain the pan, drop back to medium heat and crack the eggs to cook for 2-3mins or to your preference. Season with salt and pepper.
Plate all ingredients and enjoy.
